What is ART?
Active Release technique (ART) is a patented non-invasive soft tissue technique
used to treat problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. ART
locates and breaks down adhesions caused by Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI’s).
RSI’s or overuse injuries are soft tissue injuries that result when the soft tissues of
the body become irritated and inflamed from overuse. As a result, the patient will
often experience symptoms such as pain, swelling, decreased strength, tingling and
numbness.
